The Peel County Law Association was incorporated (as a not-for-profit) in 1947, shortly after the Second World War. Its name was changed to the Peel Law Association in 1987, to reflect the changes in the names of the courts and the municipality.
The by-laws governing the Peel Law Association are contained in By-Law 1B, passed in 2008. It replaces previous versions of the by-law. You may view By-Law 1B here as well as a detailed table of contents.
